Restaurant history & highlights :

Il Tempio's structural and conceptual designs are all inspired by elements in Asian temples hence its name which means The Temple. Located within the same jungle enclave where our Tamarind Springs currently sits, Il Tempio is therefore opened to the sounds of the jungle and colors of the wild. Cool enough to chill and calm enough to meditate, this is another fabulous jungle luxe dining venue for celebrations.

Il Tempio embraces this jungle luxe dining experience fused with a contemporary Asian flair, creating a fashionably rustic ambiance which uniquely separates the restaurant from other Italian restaurants in the scene. Dining Italian is hence never the same at Il Tempio - gourmet, green space and a great philosophy to top it all, LIVE TO EAT.

Chef Claudio ’s career history & highlights

Executive Chef Somkhuan Wandee Originally from Rome, Chef Claudio Cucchiarelli arrived from Phuket with Dusit Laguna Resort and before that, busy cooking up tantalizing traditional Italian food for the Hilton Hotel in Seoul, Kempinski Hotel in Dubai, Conrad Hotel in Cairo and Hilton Hotel in Algiers. Chef Claudio who believes one should first taste with the eyes, he entertains guests with his crafts at the very exclusive Chef's Table.' Acclaimed for his warmth, his 'eager to pamper' trait makes guests famished for more hence the return of many to Il Tempio to savor his regional Italian specialties in this charming and extraordinary contemporary Asian ambiance.
